Wendy Lynn Snider, raised in Temagami, Ontario, is a Status Indian and member of the Temagami First Nations Indian Band. She resides in St. Catharines, Ontario with her manager and husband, Curtt. She is the mother of two grown sons, Nick and Chris, grandmother to Blakely Lynn and step mom to Drew & Taryn.
She began her endeavor into the music business in April, 2009 at the age of 45, released her first album “Life Is Good” which was recorded in Nashville in 2010, her 2nd self-titled album in November, 2011 and her 3rd album in Spring, 2015.
Wendy was the winner of the 2012 Niagara Music Awards “Country Band of the Year”. She was nominated for “New Artist” Award and “Female Vocalist” at the 2013 AMG Artist Music Guild in North Carolina, USA as well as “Country Group of the Year” and “Female Vocalist” at the 2013 Niagara Music Awards.
Wendy was awarded with the “2012 Most Requested Song” from AMG Broadcast Radio which is a service of the Artist Music Guild in Atlanta, Georgia for her song “That’s What Its All About” from her 2nd self-titled album
Wendy keeps busy performing at festivals, fairs and other venues throughout Canada and in the USA.
Wendy is also a fronting member of the new theatre show called “Premier Classic County Show” along with international artist Elton Lammie and the Classic Country Showband which includes some of Canada’s illustrious and accomplished musicians such as Darren Lachance, Doug Johnson, Peter Sisk & Ed Mortenson.
Wendy recently began performing an acoustic duo (no back tracks) in Florida, USA, with a duo partner. They spend several weeks travelling the State performing at numerous RV parks and venues. Their show is a hit among the over 55.
